Abstract
A terminal () for contacting an electrical conductor () is characterized by an insulating housing () having an elongated opening () which is accessible from above for the insertion of the electrical conductor () and having at least one insulation displacement connector () which is arranged laterally on the housing () and is able to move from the side and substantially perpendicularly to the elongated opening () and thereby contacts the electrical conductor () by insulation displacement connection and fixes it in the housing ().
