Abstract

A method of notifying an aircraft crew member using a notification management system includes creating a rule based on at least one flight condition and transmitting the created rule to the aircraft. The at least one flight condition may include air travel data. The method also includes receiving aircraft data generated by one or more aircraft systems, comparing the received aircraft data with the rule, and issuing a notification to the aircraft crew member based on the comparison between the received aircraft data and the at least one condition in the rule. The notification may include at least one action to be performed in response to the notification.
