Abstract

There is presented a method of providing a wavelength tunable photon source (), comprising bonding a first element () with a first mirror (), a second element () with a second mirror () and a third element () with a photon emitter together in a structure enclosing an inner volume () being a sealed volume, and forming a bonding interface () which is gas-tight, so that the first mirror () is placed in the inner volume () so the first mirror () may move within the inner volume (). The method provides a relatively simple way of obtaining a tunable photon source where the inner volume is sealed. The invention furthermore relates to a corresponding photon source, and use of such photon source.
