Abstract

A valve according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a return spring. A latch mechanism includes a first magnet and a second magnet. One of the first and second magnets magnetically latches to the other first and second magnets in response to a control signal to minimize decompression of said return spring.
