Abstract

With respect to speech dataof an input speech, a speech-recognition deviceperforms at an internal recognizer, recognition processing using an acoustic model, to calculate an internal recognition resultand its acoustic likelihood. A reading-addition processoracquires an external recognition resultfrom recognition processing of the speech dataof the input speechby an external recognizerand adds a reading thereto, and a re-collation processorcalculates, using the acoustic model, the acoustic likelihood of the external recognition resultto provide a re-collation result. A result-determination processorcompares the acoustic likelihood of the internal recognition resultwith the acoustic likelihood of the external recognition resultincluded in the re-collation result, to thereby determine a final recognition result
