A display deviceaccording to this invention includes a display panel, a drive board, a flexible wiring, and a frame. The display panelis configured to display an image on a front side. The drive boardis configured to control display driving of the display panel. The flexible wiringhaving flexibility connects the display paneland the drive boardelectrically. The frameincludes a frame portion, a sidewall, and a housing portion. The frame portionhas a frame-like shape that is opposite a peripheral area of the front side of the display panel 11.
