Abstract

A grinding tool has a grinding head () that includes one or more surfaces with a number of recesses (). Fastenings are provided in one or more recesses () for fixing tool members (). The fastenings are adapter strips () disposed in one or more of the recesses (). The adapter strips () are provided with at least one internal and preferably longitudinal recess (). The recess () in the adapter strip () has sidewalls (). Retainer parts () of the tool members have complementing outer sidewalls and are mounted in these adapter strips (). The grinding tool with a universal grinding head () uses all types of tool members () in one and the same grinding head (). It is thus possible to change between tool members () with different shapes on the retainer part () by switching between different adapter strips ().
