Abstract

A polymer compound comprising a repeating unit represented by the formula (A) and a repeating unit represented by the formula (B) manifests large absorbance of light having long wavelength, and can be used in an organic photoelectric conversion device and an organic thin film transistor. [in the formula (A) and the formula (B), R represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group, an alkoxy group optionally substituted by a fluorine atom, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, a group represented by the formula (2) or a group represented by the formula (2). A plurality of R may be the same or mutually different. Arand Arrepresent an optionally substituted tri-valent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 60 carbon atoms or a trivalent heterocyclic group having 4 to 60 carbon atoms.].
