Abstract

A cooling system () of a light-emitting diode-based light () is proposed, wherein said light comprises a completely closed light fitting () with a flame-proof housing (). In the housing, a cooling body () as part of the cooling system () is arranged. The cooling system () further comprises an electrically operated air circulation means (). By such a cooling system, it is possible to compensate reduction in light flux with minimal additional costs or minimal additional weight or size of the light, wherein the LED light is simultaneously usable in hazardous areas in a wide temperature range.
