Abstract
A wall shower bar assembly () mounted to a shower wall (). The wall shower bar assembly () includes: a tube assembly (), an upper retainer assembly () for coupling an upper portion () of the bar assembly to a water supply pipe (), and a lower retainer assembly () for coupling a lower portion () of the bar assembly to the wall. The upper and lower retainer assemblies () define a dual joint connection structure () including an upper spheroidal joint connection assembly () and a lower pivot joint connection assembly (). Both the upper and lower joint connection assemblies () permit relative pivoting movement of the bar assembly () about pivot axes (P, P) substantially parallel to the wall. The lower retainer assemblyincludes a suction cup retaining assembly () including a camming mechanism () for securing a section cup () to the wall.
