Abstract

An electronic device () is capable of operating in water. The electronic device () has communication means (), water detection means (), and control means (). The communication means () receives a radio wave. The water detection means () detects whether the electronic device () is immersed in water or not. The control means () makes the water detection means () operate in the case where intensity of a reception signal of the radio wave received by the communication means () is lower than a threshold level.
