Abstract
An underwater sliding member of the present embodiment is an underwater sliding member used under water, and has: a base materialmade of a first metal material; an intermediate layerof a porous structure joined to the base materialand made of a second metal material; a corrosion inhibiting layera part of which is melted and filled into a hole of the porous structure of the intermediate layer; and a sliding layerformed on the corrosion inhibiting layerand made of a resin material.
