Abstract

Provided is a grease composition containing a urea thickener represented by formula (1):R—NHCONH—R—NHCONH—R  (1)(wherein Ris a bivalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms; and Rand R, which may be the same or different from each other, represent an alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, cyclohexyl group or an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms); and a base oil containing at least one compound represented by formula (3):
