Abstract
In a beam-connection member, the bottom surface side is a column-connection surfaceand one side surface is a beam-mounting surface. In other words, the column-connection surfaceand the beam-mounting surfaceare formed to be substantially perpendicular. The column-connection surfaceis the site of connection with a surface of the column. A depressionis formed on the column-connection surface. The depth of the depressionis preferably at least half of the main body thickness of the beam-connection member. Further, a notchis formed across the width direction on the column-connection surface. The notchis to avoid interference with the diaphragm. Near the notch, a ribis provided in the depressionas necessary in the width direction. The ribis for preventing deformation of the beam-connection member and for reinforcing the beam-connection member.
