Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device () for adapting a range for a handover parameter used in a mobility function and a load balancing function for a first cell in relation to a second cell, where the device is implemented in a node () in the wireless communication network and comprises an event monitoring unit () configured to monitor handover events and a range setting unit () configured to determine the handover parameter range as well as to adapt the handover parameter range based on the monitored handover events.
