Abstract

The invention relates to a frame for a plate-shaped solar element. The frame includes a bottom frame element () with a first surface () and a top frame element () with a second surface (). The second surface () is disposed opposite the first surface () and is at spaced from the first surface forming a gap that accommodates an edge region of the plate-shaped solar element (). The first surface and the second surface are each self-adhesive.
