Abstract

A measuring device () includes an analysis unit () that holds a fluid pool (B) of blood or serum therein, an irradiation unit () that irradiates fluorescent substances contained in the fluid pool (B) with excitation light, and a light receiving unit () that receives fluorescence generated from the fluorescent substances. An amount of the fluorescent substances contained in the blood or the serum after artificial dialysis is estimated from the intensity of the fluorescence.
