Abstract

A disc brake whose carrier () includes two opposite arms () each including a C-shaped axial housing () accommodating a brake pad () including two opposite lateral lugs (), each lug () accepting a pad spring () including at least one lower, sliding, branch () and in which a lamellar element () is interposed between the lug () and the C-shaped housing (), this element () including a lower first sliding flange () accepting the sliding branch () of the pad spring () and an upper second flange () for bearing vertically in the housing (), at least one tangential preload spring () for tangentially preloading the pad () interposed between an arm () and the pad () and constantly urging the pad () in a direction (D) that is horizontal overall from the back forward.
