Abstract
The invention relates to a method of determining internal temperatures () (coil and magnet temperatures) in a synchronous electrical machine () using state observers for the resistance of the coils and the magnetic flux of the magnet. The invention also relates to a diagnostic method, a control method and system () for controlling a synchronous electrical machine from the internal temperatures thus determined.
