Abstract
A method for producing an elasticated chassis web for use as a continuous and coherent layer in a disposable garment, including attaching continuous elastic elements () to a continuous base web () along regularly undulating wave-shaped curves () and cutting out pieces () in crotch segments () of the continuous base web () in order to remove selected parts of the elastic elements () from the base web (). A disposable garment made from the elasticated chassis web includes a chassis layer () having a hole () in a garment crotch portion ().
