Abstract

The invention relates to a bonded high-pressure rubber hose comprising a flexible internal stripwound tube (), a liquid and gas tight liner () made from rubber or plastic, reinforcing plies embedded in rubber, and in specific cases an adhesively bonded coupling body (), the lower reinforcing ply or plies being disposed at an angle smaller than the so-called angle of equilibrium (35.26°). The invention is characterized by that in addition to the primary liner the hose () comprises a liquid and gas tight secondary liner () disposed above the small angle reinforcing ply or plies (), and that the following inequality holds for the angle of lay of the lowest reinforcing ply () of the hose: •where •ais the angle of lay of the lowest small angle reinforcing ply () •D s is the outside diameter of the internal stripwound tube () •Dis the mean diameter of the lowest small angle reinforcing ply ().
