Abstract
A system construction supporting apparatus searches through, when receiving an input for arranging a component on the system configuration diagram anew, association information in which combinations among components connectable to one another are described and extracts a component connectable to a component selected by the input, connects a display object of the selected component and a display object of the extracted component each other and arranges the display objects, and independently moves, when receiving an input for moving one of a plurality of display objects connected to one another and arranged on the system configuration diagram (Yes at step S), the display object designated by the input while deforming a connection line connecting the display object designated by the input and another display object connected to the display object while maintaining a connection relation between the display objects by the connection line (steps Sto S).
