Abstract

Auxiliary wiring boardsandhave electrode padsandwhich are electrically connected to electrode extraction unitsandof an organic EL deviceand metal padsandwhich are electrically connected to the electrode padsand. The metal padsandare wire-bonded to metal landsandof a wiring boardby ultrasonic waves at a low joining temperature. Accordingly, a thermal denaturation of the organic EL devicecan be suppressed and moreover, the organic EL devicecan be electrically connected to the wiring boardregardless of whether the electrode extraction unitsandare made up of the metal material or the non-metal material.
