Abstract

This semiconductor device (A) includes a TFT (A) with an oxide semiconductor layer, a storage capacitor line (), and a first transparent electrode () electrically connected to the storage capacitor line (). The first transparent electrode () includes a portion which overlaps with a first connecting layer () when viewed along a normal to a substrate (). The portion that overlaps with the first connecting layer () has a point symmetric shape of which a point of symmetry is located inside a contact hole (CH) when viewed along a normal to the substrate (). The first transparent electrode () is not in direct contact with the first connecting layer (). A portion of the first transparent electrode () is in direct contact with a second connecting layer (). The first connecting layer () is in direct contact with the second connecting layer (). And the first transparent electrode () is electrically connected to the storage capacitor line () via the first and second connecting layers ().
