Abstract
The lighting systemincludes a light emitting unitincluding light emitting diodes, and a securing memberfor securing the light emitting unitto a head of a healthcare worker. The radiation of light from the light emitting uniteliminates the need for a shadowless lamp. When the light emitting unitis fixed to the head, the light emitting unitmoves with the movement of the healthcare worker, and furthermore, when the healthcare worker moves his or her head, the direction of light radiation can be changed as desired. The use of an auxiliary lighting unitand a cameracan provide safe surgery.
