Abstract

A pressure relief valve () includes a housing () that has a side wall () that defines an air flow passage (). A valve element () has a closed condition that prevents air flow through the air flow passage () and an open condition that permits air flow through the air flow passage (). A first insert () is connected to the valve element (). A second insert () is connected to the side wall (). The first insert () and the second insert () cooperate using magnetic forces to urge the valve element () to the closed condition. At least one of the first insert () and the second insert () is positioned within the air flow passage ().
