Abstract

Oxime ester compounds of formula (I), wherein R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Rindependently of each other are hydrogen, C-Calkyl, (A), COR, NO, or OR; provided that at least one of R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Ris (A), and provided that at least one of the remaining R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Ris CORor NO; Ris for example C-Calkyl, M or (B); X and Xare for example a direct bond; Rand R'are for example hydrogen or C-Calkyl; Rand R′are for example C-Caryl or C-Cheteroaryl; M is (X), (Y) or (Z); Xis O, S or NR; Rand Rare for example phenyl; R, R, R, R, R, or Rfor example are hydrogen, COR, NO, or (B); provided that at least two oxime ester groups are present in the molecule; are useful as photoinitiators.
