The present application relates to a pharmaceutical composition for use in the prevention or/and treatment of a neurodegenerative disease, the composition comprising desProExendin-4(1-39)-Lys-NHor/and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and optionally a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, adjuvant, or/and auxiliary substance.
