Abstract
Provided is a positive electrode material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, having an energy density and a power density higher than those of a positive electrode material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery employing only iron fluoride as the positive electrode active material. The positive electrode material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is characteristic in including a first positive electrode active material represented by a general formula: FeNaCoF(0<x≦0.4, 0<y≦0.1) and a second positive electrode active material composed of LiFePOhaving a surface coated with carbon.
