Abstract

A fan propeller comprises blades (), each of which has a general profile of the aircraft wing type, with a leading edge () and a trailing edge (), a neutral axis () and a span () between the leading edge () and the trailing edge (). According to one embodiment, the blade () has, on at least part of its length, a profile shaped such that the neutral axis () makes possible a point of contraflexure (), and has two opposite concavities, i.e. a positive concavity (C) between the leading edge () and the point of contraflexure (), and a negative concavity (C) between the point of contraflexure () and the trailing edge (). Application to motor vehicles.
