Abstract
A vane pump () includes: a front side vane case (), a rear side vane case (), a pump housing (), a pump cover (), a drive shaft (), a rotationally driven rotor (), and vanes () provided in slot sections (), wherein engaging groove sections and guide protrusions (), which engaging one another, are provided in the vanes (), the front side vane case () and the rear side vane case (), the engaging groove sections and guide protrusions () are composed in such a manner that the vanes () move following a proximal inner peripheral surface () in a state where the vane is proximate to the proximal inner peripheral surface (), in accordance with rotation of the rotor (), and pump chambers are demarcated by the vanes () situated in proximity with the proximal inner peripheral surface ().
