Abstract

One of the purposes of the present invention is to provide a compound which is a polymerizable monomer having a specific number of silicon atoms and a specific number of fluorine atoms and to provide a method for preparing the compound. The present invention provides a compound represented by the following formula (1): wherein m is an integer of from 2 to 10, n is an integer of from 1 to 3, Ris, independently of each other, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and Ris, independently of each other, an alkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a fluoroalkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, Ris an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R, Rand Rare, independently of each other, a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.
