Systems, methods, devices, and computer-readable media secure a couplerof an electric vehicle charging stationby locking the couplerto the electric vehicle charging stationor an electric vehicle. A locking mechanism is provided within the coupler. The locking mechanism may include an actuatorconfigured to move between a lock and unlock position.
