Abstract
A packageincludes a housingin which an electronic componentis mounted in a recesshaving an opening on an upper surface and a screwing sectionthat is fixed on a side face of the housingand extends in a lateral direction. The screwing sectionincludes a thin sectionwhich is located on a distal end and is provided with a through holethrough which a screw is inserted, a thick sectionwhich is located between the thin sectionand the side face of the housingand has a thickness less than that of the side face of the housingand thicker than that of the thin section, and a screw fastening holewhich extends in the vertical direction in the thick section. Even if the housinghas warpage when the packageis fixed on the external substrate, heat dissipation from the package to the external substrate can be improved.
