Abstract
A machine having a wound rotor () comprising a manifold () that includes a set of blades () and longitudinal notches (). Rotor () also comprises a winding () formed of a set of conductors () that each comprise two arms (), connected together by a base (). The curve, representing the electromotive force (EMF) generated by the rotor () on the basis of the angle of rotation of the rotor, is linear and steep in a switching region, and the notches () are angularly shifted relative to the blades () so that each notch () is located opposite a junction between two blades. The machine may relate to a starter fitted with the machine.
