Abstract
There is provided a display apparatus capable of reducing user annoyance by displaying display information in an appropriate output format. Touch paneldetects a touch to a display surface of display device. Sensor sectiondetects an apparatus orientation. Display control sectionchanges an output format of display information displayed on a display surface according to the apparatus orientation. When the touch is detected, display lock detecting sectionlocks the changed output format of display information.
