Abstract
There is provided a liquid crystal composition containing a compound represented by Formula (i) and a compound represented by General Formula (ii) (where Rand Reach independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, an alkoxyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or an alkenyl group having 4 or 5 carbon atoms; and Xand Xeach independently represent a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom). There is also provided a liquid crystal display device in which such a liquid crystal composition is used.
