Abstract
This invention provides a method for the synthesis of a 2-amino-4,6-dimethoxybenzamide and other benzamides of Compound I: wherein R, R, R, and Reach independently represent a hydrogen, a C-Calkyl, or a C-Calkoxy; and wherein Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen, a C-Calkyl, a protecting group, or a directing group.
