Abstract

A device for delivering a medicament intradermally includes a cartridge () having a first end () and a second end () and defining a volume () therebetween. The volume () is adapted to contain the medicament. A driving member () has a first end () and a second end (). The first end () of the driving member () is disposed in the cartridge () and the second end () of the driving member () is disposed outside the cartridge (). A stopper () is slidably disposed in the cartridge volume (). The driving member () is releasably disposed in the stopper () such that when the driving member () is retracted from the cartridge () the stopper () is disengaged from the driving member () and remains in the cartridge volume ().
