Abstract

An orientation of a computing device within three dimensional space can be determined. The position of a camera integrated within the device relative to the device screen. The camera can be a front facing camera or a rear facing camera. The camera can include an image sensor, a lense, and/or a shutter. A live view of a real world environment can be received from the camera and presented within the device screen within real-time. An eye guide can be simultaneously presented on the device screen to assist a user interacting with the device to focus the eyes of the user on the camera. The eye guide can be a graphical symbol and/or a text indicating a direction associated with the camera in relation to the orientation of the screen or the device. An image can be recorded within a computer readable storage medium associated with the device. The image can lack the eye guide.
