Abstract
A method is provided for assisting in the installation of a home automation system, including a plurality of communicating packages suitable for exchanging information with one another via a local home automation network, at least one of the communicating packages being a driver package suitable for exchanging information with a central platform of the Internet network via a wireless packet-telephony connection. The method includes a step of connection () of a portable installation driver package and automatic searching () in situ for the best mobile operator to set up the wireless connection from the installation driver package from a predefined list of possible mobile operators The method includes automatic pairing () of each communicating package with a driver package and different steps (-) for testing the operation of each communicating package.
