Abstract

This invention provides a composition for thermal insulation, comprising magnesium oxychloride cement (MOC) and air-filled glass or ceramic beads, and a method of preparing said composition. The composition may further comprise one or more additives selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, fly ash, pigment, potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KHPO) and sodium dihydrogen phosphate (NaHPO).
