Abstract
To provide a water-soluble film rollhaving end faceswith masking materialsadhered thereto. By using the water-soluble film rolland paying out a water-soluble filmwhile holding the masking materialsadhered to the end faces, it is possible to prevent moisture from adhering to the end facesand to prevent the water-soluble filmfrom rupturing due to welding of the filmwith itself. In this connection, the masking materialsare preferably a plastic film capable of being adhered to the end faceswith a pressure-sensitive adhesive.
