Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide, in order to deal with a high frequency band in which radio waves are expected to be increasingly used hereafter, a magnetoplumbite-type hexagonal ferrite material having significantly improved high-frequency property of magnetic permeability. Specifically, a magnetoplumbite-type hexagonal ferrite is represented by a composition formula: ABC(D1D2)FeO(where x: 0.1 to 0.3, y:0.1 to 0.5), wherein A is any one of Ba, Srand Ca, B is any one of Laand Nd, C and D1 are any one or more of Co, Mn, Mg, Zn, Cuand Ni, and D2 is any one of Tiand Zr.
