Abstract
Realized is an electrostatic capacitance value distribution detecting device capable of determining whether or not external noise exists. An electrostatic capacitance value distribution detecting circuit () of an aspect of the present invention drives vertical signal lines (VL) to output, from horizontal signal lines (HL), electric charges corresponding to electrostatic capacitances, and then drives the horizontal signal lines to output, from the vertical signal lines, electric charges corresponding to the electrostatic capacitances. The electrostatic capacitance value distribution detecting device includes a noise detecting section () which determines whether or not external noise exists.
