Abstract
The thrust slide bearing () has a synthetic resin bearing body () having a ring-shaped upper surface () that functions as a sliding surface, a ring-shaped metal plate () that is supported on the ring-shaped upper surface () to be freely rotatable relative to the bearing body (), and a ring-shaped cover () disposed so as to cover the ring-shaped upper surface () and the ring-shaped metal plate (). The ring-shaped metal plate () has an inner disc section () that is formed as a unit with an outer disc section () and is disposed in the through hole () of the ring-shaped cover (). The inner disc section () also functions as a reinforcing part (rib) of the outer disc section (). Thereby, the deformation of the thrust slide bearing ()is prevented even when a large force is applied via the piston rod.
