Abstract

A hemostatic material as a high-performance medical material is described, which is capable of stopping bleeding in short time and is easy to handle and produce. The hemostatic material contains a nano-fiber that contains: a polymer, and a polypeptide having a peptide fragment represented by formula (1):-(Pro-Y-Gly)-  (1)wherein Y represents hydroxyproline or proline, and n represents an integer ranging from 5 to 9000.
