Abstract
The backlight device () of the present invention is provided with: a heat-dissipating member () having a bottom surface part (); a light guide plate () that has a light-receiving face () on the side face thereof and that is arranged such that the back surface of the plate faces the front of the bottom surface part (); and LED light-source () that is arranged opposite to the light-receiving face () above the front surface of the bottom surface part (); a reflective sheet () that is arranged to be in contact with the back surface of the light-guide plate (); and a protruding part () that is formed so as to protrude from the front surface of the bottom surface part () between the LED light source () and the light-receiving face (), the protruding part () being higher than the back surface of the light guide plate ().
