Abstract
An information processing apparatus includes a 3D(three dimensional)-matrix arranging portion and a luminance/transmittance display controller portion. When a plurality of contents are list-displayed, the 3D-matrix arranging portion arranges the plurality of contents in a 3D-matrix-like form ('3D-matrix,' hereinbelow) in accordance with predetermined three axes. The 3D matrix includes a plurality of planes each containing a group of contents of the plurality of contents. The luminance/transmittance display controller portion displays on a display portion the respective groups of contents of the plurality of contents arranged in the 3D matrix, in a manner that luminance is gradually reduced in a direction from contents on a front-most plane of the plurality of planes to contents on a rear-most plane, and transmittance is gradually increased in the direction from the contents on the front-most plane to the contents on the rear-most plane.
