Abstract

Disclosed is a high-pressure pump which can easily be installed in an internal-combustion engine. Specifically disclosed is a high-pressure pumpprovided with a mounting member. The mounting memberis fixed to a pivotso as to keep such an attitude of a rocker armthat the protruding end part of the pivotis positioned within a concaveformed on a second endof the rocker armand that the outer circumferential surface of the protruding end part of the pivotis apart from the inner circumferential surface of the concaveby coming in contact with an arm bodyof the rocker armto resist a turn of the rocker armaround a rollerunder the weight thereof, before a plungeris brought into contact with a first endof the rocker arm, and so as to come out of contact with the arm bodywhen the rocker armturns in reverse to the turn under the weight thereof, after the plungeris brought into contact with the first end
